See the Safety Features Behind the 2019 Impreza

When it comes to the Subaru Impreza, our team here at Adventure Subaru in Painesville is excited about the features and design behind this popular compact SUV. Each member of our team understands the importance of finding a vehicle that’s safe for both you and your family.

The Subaru Impreza starts with its high-strength steel body. This feature is standard on each model and adds both durability and a rigid design to the Impreza.

Subaru EyeSight

The EyeSight Driver Assist Technology is built standard on the 2.0i Limited Impreza and is available on the 2.0i, Premium, and Sport.

This system utilizes radar in features like the Blind Spot Detection system. It will alert you in each of the mirrors when it detects a vehicle in one of your blind spots. For times when you’re backing up, the Rear Cross-Traffic Alert system can warn you of approaching traffic in the same side mirrors.

Highbeams can help improve visibility at night but can be blinding for other drivers. The available High Beam Assist feature can detect when there’s oncoming vehicles or vehicles in front of you and will automatically switch between high and low beam settings.

Another part of the EyeSight Driver Assist functions is the Lane Keep Assist. It will scan the lane markings and notify you when you start to drift. The Impreza can even make slight steering adjustments to move you back into your lane.

Safety Cameras

The Rear-Vision Camera comes standard on each Impreza model. It utilizes the infotainment screen to improve your visibility while backing up. On-screen guides will help guide you into a parking space and warn you when you get too close to other objects.

You can pair the Rear-Vision Camera with the available Reverse Automatic Braking. While backing up, the Impreza can detect objects and automatically apply the brakes to help avoid low-speed collisions.

Combining this all is the redesigned STARLINK Safety and Security system. It provides added services such as Enhanced Roadside Assistance, Stolen Vehicle Recovery, and Automatic Collision Notification to keep you updated in the Impreza or at home.
