What an incredible evening! Footprints Center for Autism's 6th annual A Blue Carpet Affair fundraiser on May 11th was a night filled with joy, laughter, and an outpouring of support for our mission.
We are overjoyed to announce that this year's event raised an amazing $34,683! A huge thank you goes out to every single person who donated, attended, sponsored, or volunteered to make this fundraiser such a resounding success.
The evening began with a lovely dinner catered by the outstanding team at Dino's Catering hosted at the beautiful Pine Ridge Country Club. Their staff went above and beyond to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
The real stars of the show were the incredible models who graced the runway for our inclusive fashion show. From cowboys to dinosaurs to wrestling champions and even Barry Manilow himself, the outfits were creative and the smiles were contagious. These models filled the room with sparkle and reminded us all of the amazing abilities within every child.
We were fortunate to have the talented photographer Mandi Schueren capture all the special moments throughout the evening. Her generous donation of her time and skills is invaluable.
The community support extended to our raffles as well, with businesses and individuals contributing an array of fantastic basket raffle items. One generous guest even paid it forward by donating their 50/50 raffle winnings back to Footprints!
As one of our directors expressed, it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime evening made possible by this giving community. Words can't express our gratitude for those who celebrated with us and empowered our mission to provide comprehensive autism services.
