In the heart of Northeast Ohio, UCP of Greater Cleveland stands as a beacon of hope and support for individuals grappling with various developmental disabilities. Our organization is unwaveringly committed to nurturing the independence, productivity, and community inclusion of both children and adults living with disabilities.

Who We Are

UCP of Greater Cleveland is a devoted family of approximately 170 dedicated professionals. We extend our services to individuals facing a broad spectrum of challenges, from cerebral palsy and genetic disorders to developmental delays and traumatic brain injuries.

What Sets Us Apart

Our organization is distinguished by the depth of our expertise and the comprehensiveness of our approach. Every service we provide is intricately tailored to meet the unique needs and desires of each individual. We concentrate on enhancing their abilities, adopting a holistic approach to ensure the overall well-being and growth of the people we serve.

Our Centers of Excellence

At LeafBridge, our children’s center of excellence, we present a range of pediatric therapies including occupational, physical, and speech therapy, ensuring comprehensive care for children with significant physical and intellectual disabilities. Additionally, we offer an exceptional alternative education program for children, guaranteeing their smooth developmental progression.

For adults, OakLeaf, our adult center of excellence, provides community integration and employment services, aiding in their seamless assimilation into the community.

Navigating Through the Pandemic

The global pandemic has undeniably imposed operational and fundraising challenges. Nevertheless, we continue to persevere, adapting to the circumstances by offering both in-person and virtual services. Although the pandemic forced the cancellation of our in-person events, our Share the Love Event, in partnership with Adventure Subaru, holds significant promise for the continued support of our community in Northeast Ohio.

Our History and Vision

Founded in 1950 by a group of resolute parents, UCP of Greater Cleveland has evolved from a small, loosely-knit group to a thriving, accredited organization. We aspire to be the leading provider of lifespan services for individuals with disabilities, ensuring their happiness, health, and enriched lives as integral community members.
