Since 2008, Subaru of America and its retailers, including Adventure Subaru, have hosted the Subaru Share the Love Event. During this event, customers can choose to donate directly to one of four national partners or a local hometown charity.
Each year, Adventure Subaru selects a new hometown charity with a personal connection to our employees or their families. In early 2022, Footprints Center for Autism reached out seeking community support. The timing was perfect, and after learning more about their mission and visiting the school, we chose them as our partner for the Share the Love Event.
We spent the next few months planning and advertising the campaign. Despite the challenges posed by Covid, we raised over $16,000.
In 2023, over 75% of donations from the Subaru Share the Love Event were directed to hometown charities, reflecting the deep commitment of our customers to supporting their local communities. Nationally, we surpassed our goal, with the total reaching $288 million in donations over the past sixteen years.
At Adventure Subaru, we are dedicated to establishing long-term commitments and building enduring relationships with our customers and community partners. We've had the pleasure of collaborating with Erin and Nicole on various initiatives, including appearances on Fox 8's New Day Cleveland, creating follow-up videos, participating in Trunk or Treat events, and now, serving as the presenting sponsor for this year's gala.
