Subaru gives the 2019 Subaru Forester a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, which generates 182 horsepower and 176 pound-feet of torque. It's hooked up to an efficient continuously variable transmission, and comes with symmetrical Subaru all-wheel drive. It earns an EPA-estimated 26/33/29 city/highway/combined mpg.

Entertainment

Even the base trim level of the 2019 Subaru Forester makes it easy for you to control your infotainment. It comes with a standard 6.5-inch touchscreen, which can easily hook up to your smartphone through Android Auto or Apple CarPlay... a first for the Subaru Forester. You can connect it to more than just smartphones though, since it also has Bluetooth connectivity. There's an available eight-inch touchscreen which is even easier to use. You get four standard speakers, but if you'd like you can upgrade to a six-speaker system, or even a deluxe nine-speaker Harman Kardon premium sound system for all you audiophiles out there. Satellite radio gives you even more variety in your listening.  Available Subaru Starlink adds extra connectivity and gives you more control, connecting you to music, navigation, podcasts, news, and more.
